Keeled Skimmer - rediscovered in Denmark

Added by Simon Waagner 07-07-2006

The dragonfly Keeled Skimmer has been considered extinct in Denmark the last 70 years. That all changed when the species was rediscovered the 1st of July 2006. A large population of the rare dragonfly was found in a small stream in Jutland. NatureEyes visited the site and photographed the long lost species for the photo archive.
